Giselle and I returned from our brief trip to SF and a wedding Sacramento. She calls it her High-School reunion as the bride and a number of the guests and bridal party were her High School friends. She has no plans on attending her 10 year reunion (for the record, I didn’t either.)
Call it fate or coincidence but a few days before we headed out, I got an email from my friend Mario, who I’d lost touch with for over 2 years (I had his old email and he never sent me his new one, etc.). Turns out he was now living in Sacramento and so we ended up crashing on his couch overnight rather than drive straight back after the wedding reception.
We ended up watching “Mean Girls” on the flight. I was surprised how good the movie was. Not your typical teen throw-away flick. Tina Fey (of Saturday Night Live) should get nominated for her script. Okay, maybe not an Oscar, but at least nominated.
After getting up at 3:30am to catch a 6am flight (both outbound and the return) I honestly don’t know what’s worse–That, or taking the red-eye.
