Election Day 2013

24 years ago, NYC elected Democrat David Dinkins as Mayor. And Rev. Al Sharpton was still fat.

Thinking about the mayoral election here in NYC and DeBlasio’s promise to raise taxes on the rich. He’s right on track to reduce income inequality in NYC. Because the rich are sure to move or simply claim their beach house in the Hamptons as their primary residence. With far less rich residents in the city we will technically have less income inequality.

And as an added bonus, with the rich sending their property tax dollars to Long Island and Westchester, we’ll have far less money to pay for cops and city maintenance. With higher crime, trash and graffiti, property values will collapse making it easier for the middle-class to buy homes and lower rent prices.

It seems like the majority of voters in NYC  don’t remember what NYC used to be like. And those that do, just hate the new money and hipsters that have moved in and and made this city unrecognizable. Haters gonna hate.

I’m not fan of RHINO mayor Bloomberg but a final thought: 24 years ago we elected a Democrat as mayor. That year, there were over 1900 murders in NYC every year. Last year there were 414.
