Tom studied Biology at California State University Los Angeles before discovering his true calling in advertising. He is a graduate of the illustrious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. And he studied graphic design in Vevey, Switzerland.
Tom joined DDB in 1993, as an Art Director/Copywriter. There he co-created Amtrak’s humorous “Wouldn’t You Rather Be In One Of Our Cars?”campaign. As well as producing memorable work
for the New York Lottery, Crunch Fitness, Bermuda Tourism, and Irish Tourism.
Tom was a pioneer in the interactive world, receiving one of the first Interactive Clio awards in 1996,
for Ragu’s “Mama’s Cuccina” (www.eat.com.) In 1998, Tom moved to San Francisco to join the legendary creative hothouse that was Red Sky Interactive, where he created evolutionary interactive work as and winning a One Show pencil for Sutter Home’s MoodMaker.
In 2001 Tom took the reigns as Creative Director at AdWorks Hawaii, working on such accounts as AT&T Wireless, Aston Resorts and the University of Hawaii. Finding paradise a little too sedate, Tom moved
back to New York in 2003, where he currently resides with his family in Brooklyn.
In his spare time Tom enjoys cycling, fencing, scuba diving and Tom producing charity airsoft events (combat simulation role-playing).
