It’s been a busy first week at Digitas: Trying to learn the names of a dozen new people I meet each day. Trying to get up to speed on the various accounts I’m in charge of. Still it’s exciting and I’m having a blast.
G’s exhibiting the first printing of her book “Strength and Struggle”, at the MOCCA Arts Expo (Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art). It’s an illustrated journal of her experiences going through Leukmia. She’s been working on this book for the last 5 years so I’m very proud that she’s finally published it. She even sold 4 copies of it yesterday!
I just rode the American Diabetes Association’s Tour de Cure ride this morning with my friend Earle. It was a great 50 mile ride though it’s super hot and muggy right now, so that was unpleasant. Thankfully one of the perks at the end of the ride was free massages performed by the students of the Sweedish Massage Institute.
