Speaking of rare sightings, I’m sure you heard about that tornado that hit Brooklyn. That was just 3-5 miles south of us but the high winds never woke us up. The weatherman on NY1 pointed out that there are on average 13 tornados hit the NY city area every year but many of those hit over water.
